It’s a red-letter day for Appy Entertainment! This morning we received news of our ME 2010 Awards nomination, and now we see that Apple has identified our All-In-1 ZombieBox as “New & Noteworthy” in the iTunes store. It’s like Christmas in October (if your stocking was stuffed full of brains and blood!).

Unlike the Paid Adventure category-specific recommendation we received during launch weekend — which appears only in iTunes — this higher-level endorsement shows up when checking the New & Noteworthy category via your iPhone or iPod touch, which makes the impact of the feature substantially more pronounced.

We’ve already seen a sharp uptick in our sales rankings since the feature went live around lunch time. Our little decaying, undead fingers are crossed that this trend will continue into the weekend and on through the month to Halloween!

Our thanks goes out to Apple for continuing to support us with early endorsement of our apps — it is a privilege to be featured in a market so crowded with worthy apps, and Appy has been especially fortunate in this regard, as all of our major games — Appy Newz, FaceFighter, Zombie Pizza, Tune Runner, and now the All-In-1 ZombieBox — have been featured several times by Apple. Thank you.

Thank you also to the loyal Appy Army, who turned out in our first weekend to get the All-In-1 ZombieBox off to a fast start, and to help bring it to the attention of Apple and the press. We love you guys!
