Trucks & Skulls NITRO has been out for about ten days now, and we’ve collected several notices praising our new direction for everyone’s favorite skull-smashing physics puzzler. We’re particularly pleased with the way most of the reviews approved of our introduction of in-app currency to the game — we really sweated the details to make sure our new Trucks Store enhanced and extended the game experience, without slamming players against a pay wall and groping for their wallet.

It helps that goofy premium additions like Bling Trucks and Goth Trucks are so infectiously nutty and fun!

Nine Over Ten gives Trucks & Skulls NITRO five out of five! “Trucks & Skulls is my new favourite game and I’m obsessing over the levels.”

Pad Gadget goes on the record: “… it is the best physics-based game I’ve ever played. It is full of bone-crushing metal and guitar shredding metal, explosions, monster trucks and the complete annihilation of everything.”

AppleNApps says, “It’s so much better to have in-app purchases if they don’t feel like an obligation.”

Slide-To-Play updated their already favorable review, saying “There’s nothing better than a developer continuing to provide value for a game that is a mainstay on your iOS device.”

Updated review from AppFreak. After sampling NITRO’s new Trucks mods, they said “… it’s always good news to get free content and I particularly liked the way in-app-purchases are implemented here …”

New review from 148apps gives Trucks & Skulls NITRO 4.5/5 stars and says the game “… oozes so much machismo that I feel my beard growing as I play it.”

And a review in French that must have been favorable, because our French downloads spiked 4000% after it came out!
